Streaking Aztecs top Wyoming, net share of MWC title

LARAMIE, Wyo. - Adam Muema rushed for a career-high 255 yards and four touchdowns in leading San Diego State past Wyoming 42-28 on Saturday.
Adam Dingwell added two touchdown passes as San Diego State secured at least a share of the Mountain West Conference title, which is its first MWC title, 19th overall and first since 1998.
The Aztecs (9-3, 7-1 Mountain West) also won their seventh consecutive game - their first single-season seven-game win streak since 1981 - and posted their first nine-win regular season since 1977.
Wyoming (4-8, 3-5) saw its three-game win streak stopped.
■ Fresno State 48, Air Force 15 - At Fresno, Calif., Derek Carr passed for 452 yards and four touchdowns, two of them to Davante Adams, as the Bulldogs thrashed the Falcons (6-6, 5-3) to capture a share of the Mountain West Conference championship.
Carr threw a 64-yard touchdown pass to Adams on the Bulldogs' second play from scrimmage and 1:46 later hooked up with Isaiah Burse for a 36-yard score. Fresno State (9-3, 7-1) led 21-0 after its first three possessions.
■ Colorado State 24, New Mexico 20 - At Fort Collins, Colo., Conner Smith threw a fourth-quarter touchdown pass, and Kevin Pierre-Louis batted away a last-play pass in the end zone as the Rams (4-8, 3-5) beat the Lobos (4-9, 1-7).
