Texans defense already a force at the dinner table

With big Vince Wilfork joining J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney in Houston this season, the Texans should be fun to watch on defense and on the 10th edition of HBO’s “Hard Knocks.”

We can only hope the behind-the-scenes series will feature footage of Wilfork and Watt dining together.

The 6-foot-5-inch, 288-pound Watt revealed on Fox Sports’ “The Buzz with Jimmy Traina” podcast that he ate 10 eggs, among other things, over the course of two breakfasts on Thursday.

“First breakfast: five eggs, some hash browns, whole wheat pancakes, a banana, orange juice, water and an apple,” Watt told Traina. “Second breakfast: oatmeal, five eggs, wheat toast.”

There was no word on what Watt or the 325-pound Wilfork had for lunch, but Wilfork is already a big barbecue fan.

Shortly after leaving the New England Patriots, he posted a picture of his new barbecue smoker, which has “Unleash the Beast” on it and replaced the one Wilfork was shown dancing next to on Instagram last year as he smoked ribs.

“Houston, we have a problem…a good problem!!!!,” Wilfork posted. “Man, we are in trouble now @Pitmaker!!!!!”

The rest of the NFL might be in trouble now, too.

WATT TAMES TROLL

Before he blossomed into a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Watt was a two-star recruit coming out of high school, according to Rivals.com.

A Twitter troll recently denigrated Watt for his prep status, posting “I just unfollowed @JJWatt because he was not a 5 star. This is a 5 star club only.”

After his 10-egg breakfast, Watt also left the fool with egg on his face, posting, “You keep your 5 stars. I’ll keep my 2. And the 2 DPOY trophies that match. #JustGettingStarted.”
