Beckett has three shutouts in six playoff starts, including a four-hitter against the Angels in Game 1 of the first round at Fenway Park. He went 1-1 with a 1.80 ERA against Cleveland this year. C.C. Sabathia threw 114 pitches in five innings of the Indians' 12-3 win over the Yankees last week.
