Vikings fans might not be able to exchange Peterson jerseys

Last week, the Baltimore Ravens held a jersey exchange for fans who wanted to exchange their Ray Rice jerseys. Minnesota Vikings fans who have an Adrian Peterson jersey may not be as lucky.

“No, we are not contemplating a jersey exchange program,” the Vikings told ProFootballTalk.com on Friday. “Adrian remains a member of this organization and we will support him through the legal and personal process.”

Peterson was indicted by a grand jury on Sept. 12 on charges of reckless or negligent injury to a child and benched by the Vikings.

Peterson was reinstated by the Vikings on Sept. 15 and then banned from all team activities on Sept. 17 when he was placed on the exempt commissioner’s permission list by the league.
