Wranglers turn back Grizzlies in shootout win

The Wranglers defeated the Utah Grizzlies 4-3 Saturday night at the Orleans Arena as goalie Michael Ouzas turned away three of four shots in a shootout.
Vince Bellissimo, Blair Riley and Ryan Huddy all scored in the shootout to give Las Vegas (3-3-1) the victory.
Ned Lukacevic, Aaron Power and Huddy each scored in regulation for the Wranglers, while Colin Long added two assists and Ouzas stopped 30 of 33 shots.
Lukacevic's goal at 3:51 of the third period gave Las Vegas a 3-2 lead, but the Grizzlies (5-2-1-1) tied it at the 9:31 mark on a power-play goal by defenseman Ric Jackman.
The Wranglers outshot Utah 2-0 in overtime before the shootout.
Las Vegas next plays Thursday at home against Victoria.
