Bill Clinton to fill in for recuperating Hillary at North Las Vegas campaign event

Former President Bill Clinton will be in North Las Vegas campaigning for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on Wednesday, a visit that comes as his wife’s health has attracted attention.

The former first lady and secretary of state had originally planned to visit the North Las Vegas campus of the College of Southern Nevada herself, but was sidelined after becoming dizzy while attending an outdoor 9/11 ceremony on Sunday. Her campaign has since said she had previously been diagnosed with pneumonia and was advised after the incident to change her schedule and rest up.

The 11 a.m. event at the college’s June Whitley Student Lounge, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave., North Las Vegas, is open to the public. To RSVP, go to https://www.hillaryclinton.com/events/view/TEN3G4U7QUD6RCC6/.

The former president will be talking about his wife’s vision for the economy.
