Chapman hits new heights for sales for district, region, nation
After trending steadily upward for the past two years, Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram attained the No. 1 position in their district, the No. 2 position in their region and placed No. 20 in the nation for total new sales in July and August 2012.
Representatives from Chrysler Corp. visited Las Vegas recently to present Chapman's ownership and sales team with a trophy for their accomplishment.
"We owe all of these accolades to our loyal customers who continue to show that they appreciate the family-style service and outstanding Chrysler products that Chapman dealerships deliver," said Don Hamrick, general manager of Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. "The public has responded very favorably to the new quality and technology Chrysler is building into our vehicles now and we've got the inventory size to meet the demand."
Neither Chapman nor Chrysler are resting on their laurels. In response to the great sales volume the dealership achieved, the Chrysler factory has increased their vehicle allocation and today Chapman's inventory is double the size it was 13 months ago. It means more selection to better serve customers, Hamrick said.
Chrysler, meanwhile, continues to improve its product line. In particular, re-engineered and redesigned 2013 Ram trucks will be arriving soon with 8-speed automatic transmissions and Stop-Start System technology that increases fuel consumption and reduces emissions.
The 2013 Dodge Dart continues to be a big seller, with 12 exterior colors, 14 interior color and trim combinations, three fuel-efficient engines, three transmissions, seven wheel choices and six trim levels. It gets 41-plus mpg.
The 2012 Chrysler 300 ranks No. 1 in Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com 10 most comfortable cars less than $30,000 and is a Consumer's Digest best buy based on behind-the-wheel assessment, safety ratings, ownership costs, warranty, price, comfort, ergonomics, styling and amenities.
The 2013 Jeep Wrangler Moab edition will arrive in a few weeks with a new heart but same soul of the vehicle that has been America's car since World War II. The Moab Wrangler has newly contoured seats and trim, a lever for one-handed rear-seat folding (previously a two-handed operation), ambient cabin lighting and the return of a second windshield washer nozzle.
