Clinton returning to Las Vegas

Former President Bill Clinton is returning to Las Vegas Tuesday to campaign for Sen. Harry Reid, according to the Reid campaign.

The Oct. 12 event will be held at Valley High School. The Reid camp distributed notices this morning to the invitation-only event where Clinton will aim to energize Democrats in the school gym as the campaign nears its climax.

This will mark Clinton's second trip to Las Vegas in less than a month to boost a member of the Reid family. On Sept. 15, he was the draw at a Mandalay Bay rally for gubernatorial candidate Rory Reid.

Clinton has been declared one of the Democrats' most reliable designated hitters, crossing the nation in support of the party's chosen.

The day before his Las Vegas appearance, Clinton will be in Kentucky on behalf of Senate candidate Jack Conway, according to news outlets in the state.

A few days afterward he is scheduled to campaign in California for gubernatorial candidate Jerry Brown, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
