Cracks in Obamacare
Hate to say I told you so, but health care "reform" rammed into law by Sen. Harry Reid and President Obama is beginning to show the design faults many saw at the time it was forged.
Rep. Henry Waxman -- the king of Washington grandstanding -- proves the point when he surprisingly calls a halt to his "show trial" designed to embarrass private business and extol the virtues of Obamacare.
Waxman called off the hearing, insiders say, because the documents that began to come back didn't back up his point. In fact, documents showed that Obamacare will drive up insurance premiums and force employers to dump employees from their health plans.
Read it for yourself. On the local front, Sen. Harry Reid is now on the airwaves telling Nevadans they should give him a big "thank you" for his health care efforts. He may want to rethink that strategy if the collapsed Waxman hearings are any indication.
