Ding! Ding! Ding! — That’s how McCain should debate

Finally, John McCain took the offensive and pushed Barack Obama on his heels.

Tonight McCain was sharp, crisp and, if I may say so, a little pissed off. He not only pinned the Herbert Hoover tail on Obama he finally landed the big spender punch on his opponent.

Do you think the Obama campaign will now issue a press release to explain Obama's million dollar pork-barrel earmark overhead projector? I bet not.

Or, will they issue a press release that specifies exactly how much an Obama administration will fine a mom who can't afford to obtain health care for her children?

Also, for those of us who care about the well being of Israel, Obama's ever-changing explanation of how he will talk directly (and therefore legitimize) Iran leaders, is disconcerting in the extreme.

McCain came across determined. Obama smirked and sounded uncharacteristically lightweight.

If independent voters were tuned in, score this debate big for McCain.
