DINING: A class and some dining deals

Carmine's on the Hill, 645 Carnegie St. in Henderson, is offering its first cooking class at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 25. Students will learn how to prepare some favorite Sicilian dishes. It's $30, which includes wine and a food tasting. To register, call 252-7474.
BOA Steakhouse at the Forum Shops at Caesars, 3500 Las Vegas Blvd. South, has introduced a $45, three-course Appetite Stimulus Menu, available for dinner Sunday through Thursday. Entree choices include prime filet mignon medallions and pan-seared Atlantic salmon.
Social House at Treasure Island, 3300 Las Vegas Blvd. South, has introduced a social hour from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. It features buy-one-get-one cocktails including the Tequila Moon and Lycheetini, half-priced hot or infused cold sake carafes, and $39 bento boxes filled with vegetable tempura and green salad, choice of roll, choice of meal over rice, choice of dessert and hot or cold sake.
Origin India Restaurant & Bar, 4480 Paradise Road, is offering locals a buy-one-get-one entree through the end of the month.
The lounge at Envy Steakhouse at the Renaissance Las Vegas, 3400 Paradise Road, is offering March Madness happy-hour specials, including 20 percent off the entire bar menu, $2 draft beers and $5 Pick and Roll specials, where the drink discount is determined by a roll of the dice. The specials are offered from 4 to 7 p.m. daily and during all March Madness basketball games, and will continue throughout the year.
Morton's the Steakhouse, 400 E. Flamingo Road, offers Power Hours specials from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 4 to 6:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, as well as 9 to 11 p.m. daily. Power Hours includes bar bites (such as four petite filet mignon sandwiches, iceberg wedge bites and jumbo lump crab, spinach and artichoke dip) at $6 per plate and specially priced wines by the glass, beers or cocktails.
