9640 W. Tropicana Ave., west of Fort Apache Road; 702-823-1400

Fajitas are special here, but there is so much more that makes the food at this restaurant delicious. The menu continues with tacos, tamales, enchiladas, chile rellenos and tostadas. Jalisco-style dishes are chicken, steak or shrimp with cactus, lemon and garlic, or with chipotle, butter and white wine. Specialty burritos include chorizo with potato and egg, chili Colorado, green chile pork, and Machaca with chicken, beef or pork with onions, egg, and pico de gallo. There are soups, salads (shrimp ceviche, grilled vegetable) and appetizers such as taquitos, fajita nachos, shrimp cocktail and guacamole made tableside. Desserts are sopapillas, churros and fried ice cream. Lunch specials are served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Happy hour is daily from 3 to 7 p.m. Fajitas start at $13.95. Juan’s is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
