Norm's is ideal for breakfast with its friendly menu and pleasant dining atmosphere, where large windows look out on the bustling traffic as the day begins. All three-egg omelets are served with hash browns or fruit and bagel or toast. Several of those omelets are cheese (American, cheddar, provolone, Swiss), Spanish, Denver, veggie or tomato basil. Several specials are huevos rancheros, eggs Benedict, corned beef hash, chicken fried steak, lox and cream cheese scramble and lemon ricotta or red velvet pancakes. Lunch is available beginning at 11 a.m. and has its own specials priced at $5.99. Among them are beef stew, chicken curry, meat loaf, pot roast, vegetable stir-fry and teriyaki chicken. Several sandwiches, served with fries and coleslaw, are Reuben, patty melt, chicken Caesar wrap, French dip, grilled veggie, roast beef and cheddar panini, club, barbecue bacon burger, turkey burger, BLT, and grilled ham and cheese. There is chicken noodle soup and salads such as Caesar, lettuce wedge with tomatoes, bacon bits and blue cheese crumbles, Chinese chicken and Cobb with turkey, ham, bacon bits, blue cheese, sliced boiled eggs, tomatoes and cucumbers. Omelets begin at $4.75 and sandwiches at $4.95. Norm's is open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
