Duck stampede swarms traffic in search of food

Lesson for the day: Don’t get in the way of a duck in search for food, especially when he’s accompanied by tens of thousands of his buddies.

An enormous flock — although I want to say stampede — of ducks blocked traffic in Thailand over the weekend as they left their “home” looking for food.

The flood of birds is so massive it looks like the vehicles are floating down the road.

According to the Bangkok Post, the man in the video was in a hurry to get to work, but the swarming fowl made it impossible.

“I’m not sure why these ducks are in revolt,” the man in the video says. “You can see the great mass of ducks swarming on the road. They have now occupied the area entirely.”

Jack Saranthat, who uploaded the video, said a farmer was taking the ducks to the other side of the road to find food.

What? There is such a thing as a duck farmer?
