Dunhill to host grand opening for new floor plans in Tuscany Village

Dunhill Homes, developer of two award-winning master-planned communities in Southern Nevada, is celebrating the grand opening of 13 brand new floor plans at Tuscany Village in Henderson with a special event April 30. The new plans include six decorated model homes currently open to the public for viewing.

"We invite you to check out the new models and find out about special grand opening incentives and pricing," said Ryan Soucie, director of sales for Dunhill Homes. "The new floor plans were designed in a yearlong process incorporating consumer focus groups and consultations with contemporary home design experts. They are perfectly designed for the way you live now."

Dunhill Homes' grand opening celebration at Tuscany Village will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The public is invited to tour the model homes and enjoy refreshments including specially created grilled cheese sandwiches from the new Muncheeze gourmet food truck. A drawing will be held for a chance to win a new Apple iPad2.

Among the updates at Tuscany Village are homes with standard features once considered upgrades by new home builders, along with exceptional energy saving elements, Soucie said.

"All 13 new floor plans at Tuscany Village are Energy Star, Nevada Power Energy Plus and Department of Energy Builder's Challenge certified," he said. "The homes incorporate several of the latest in energy saving innovations, inclusive of radiant-barrier roofs, tankless water heaters and high-performance dual pane low-e, argon gas, vinyl windows."

Dunhill Homes' new Tuscany Village floor plans range from 1,215 to 2,646 square feet and include as many as five bedrooms and 3½ baths. Prices start in the low $100,000s.

"We now offer both single- and two-story homes at Tuscany Village, with some clear favorites emerging," said Marietta Manayan, sales agent. "Among the designs we anticipate being popular are Plan 2173 in the new Roma series and Plan 1996 in the new Verona series."

Plan 2173 at Tuscany Village is a single-story home with a formal entry, Dunhill Homes' signature valet cabinet, three bedrooms, as many as 3½ baths, a great room, kitchen with a nook and gourmet cooking island and storage space in the two-car garage.

"This home is very flexible and offers several options to personalize your new home to suit your lifestyle," Manayan said.

Flexible space in the oversized great room can be selected as an owner's sitting area, home office, fourth bedroom or additional flex space. A covered patio and three-car garage are also available with this home.

Dunhill Homes' Plan 1996 in the Verona series at Tuscany Village is a two-story home with three bedrooms, 2½ baths, great room, a kitchen with a nook and gourmet cooking island and a game room or optional fourth bedroom.

"This home is sure to be a best seller because of its oversized kitchen, grand entry and generous closet space throughout the home," Manayan said.

Plan 1996 includes two walk-in closets in the owner's suite and an additional walk-in closet in the second bedroom. Downstairs, a walk-in closet is also included near the entry.

Homebuyers of the new plans at Tuscany Village will have full access to the community's amenities.

"From an award-winning 18-hole golf course to a 35,000-square-foot recreation center that features a full fitness facility, swimming pools, game room, billiards room and activity classes, residents feel as though they are living at a resort in Tuscany Village," Manayan said.

The Tuscany Golf Club offers views of the Las Vegas Strip and nearby mountains, and its 6,906-yard, par 72 course was designed by renowned golf course architect Ted Robinson Jr.

"At Tuscany Village, you get all the luxuries and conveniences of a country club without the country club prices," Manayan said. "And unlike other master plans, there are no improvement district fees burdening the homeowner at Tuscany Village."

To visit Tuscany Village, take Lake Mead Drive in Henderson heading east. Follow the signs to the community and turn left on Mohawk Drive to the main entrance. Tuscany's sales office is located at 1549 Olivia Parkway and is open daily from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
