Exploration Park site of Fun Festival

Flyball, disc dog, agility demonstrations, lure racing and weight pull are fun, new additions to the annual Family, Fur & Fun Festival. Today's event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Exploration Park at the Mountain's Edge master-planned community, 9275 S. Buffalo Drive. The free event is perfect for the whole family and leashed, well-behaved pets.

"Our new demonstration events provide an entertaining spectator component to the Family, Fur & Fun Festival," said Donna Stidham, event organizer. "People will really enjoy seeing what the dogs can do and appreciate their athleticism. Plus the dogs are so cute."

She added that attendees' dogs can participate in some of the activities.
