Nevada public relations and public affairs company The Ferraro Group recently announced its merger with Tangerine Communications, including plans to branch out and expand its clientele throughout the Phoenix market.
“For the past couple of years we have been collaborating with Tangerine on behalf of a large client in the southwestern U.S.,” Ferraro Group founder and President Greg Ferraro said.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
The Ferraro Group, which has offices in Las Vegas, Reno and Carson City, has been specializing in strategic positioning, marketing campaigns, reputational management, media relations, crisis management and advocacy for more than 10 years.
Some of the firm’s notable clients include the city of Las Vegas, Cox Communications, Frias Transportation, JP Morgan Chase, Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance, Nathan Adelson Hospice, Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development, NV Energy and UnitedHealth Group.
“We are excited to grow The Ferraro Group regionally and to build on this new partnership which enables us to offer our clients in Nevada and Arizona an even stronger and more diverse team of experienced communications professionals,” he said.
With more than 13 years as a public relations practitioner in Phoenix, Heather Austin of Tangerine Communications will now serve as The Ferraro Group’s Phoenix operations director.
“Integrating Tangerine into The Ferraro Group team will be a simple and seamless event because we already know each other well and know that we share a common value system in our businesses — establishing a positive work environment to create positive, innovative and lasting PR results for our clients,” Ferraro added.
