Findlay North VW opens

Findlay North Volkswagen recently celebrated the grand opening of its store in northwest Las Vegas. The dealership, at 7500 W. Azure Drive, is one of the nation's newest and marks an expansion of the VW brand in the state.

With sales for Volkswagen in the U.S. up nearly 48 percent in January, the Findlay North Volkswagen team hopes to help build on the brand's momentum.

Findlay North Volkswagen will be the latest VW store in Las Vegas featuring a state-of-the-art facility and highly trained team of professionals ready to assist customers with their sales and service needs.

"We are excited to join the Volkswagen family and with exciting products like the all-new Beetle and U.S.-built Passat, there is no better time than now to join this growing team," said James Cobbs, general manager of Findlay North Volkswagen.

Tyler Corder, chief financial officer of Findlay Automotive Group, said the dealership is the group's 24th and he expects it to excel in sales and customer service. He sees the partnership with Cobbs, who has been with the group for 13 years, as a great opportunity for success.

Among those celebrating the grand opening were VW executive Frank Trivieri, vice president of sales, Volkswagen North America; and Las Vegas City Councilman Steve Ross.
