Fletcher Jones hosts Mercedes-Benz E-Class sneak preview

Fletcher Jones Imports will host a sneak preview of the all-new E-Class sedan starting Wednesday. Seven sedans and possibly one coupe will be available for viewing and test drives from Wednesday at noon to Friday, May 1, at 5 p.m. at the dealership located at 7300 W. Sahara Ave.

The revamped E-Class features intelligent bodyshell technology with as much as 30 percent greater stiffness, improved seats and a newly developed suspension that adjusts to different driving situations. Engines available are a 268-horsepower V-6 in the E350 and a 382-horsepower V-8 in the top-of-the-line E550.

"We are encouraging test drives," said Krista Kelly, business developing manager at Fletcher Jones Imports. "The best way to get to know a car is to drive it and really experience firsthand what it has to offer."

Groundbreaking safety features include adaptive headlights that adjust to traffic situations to avoid disrupting other drivers; Lane Departure Warning, which prevents drivers from accidentally drifting across lanes; Attention Assist, which alerts drowsy drivers to driving mistakes; and automatic emergency braking. In addition, the E-Class comes standard with 11 air bags.
