Football fan scores Civic lease

Neil Rosen likes to watch football on Monday nights. For 16 weeks, Rosen and several of his co-workers went to Aliante Station to watch Monday Night Football "because their big screen was bigger and the giveaways were better," Rosen said.

Little did he know that his name would be drawn for Aliante's Monday Night Football grand prize, a two-year lease on a 2010 Honda Civic from Findlay Honda in the northwest.

About 200 people attended Aliante's football parties every night. Rosen's name was drawn from thousands of entries.

"I knew I had a chance to win the car, but I really didn't think I'd win," Rosen said.

After winning, Rosen was skeptical. "I didn't know if it was for real, but it worked out great! Findlay Honda told me to bring my driver's license and proof of insurance; that's all I needed."

Within a couple days of drawing, Rosen's wife was driving their new 2010 Civic, a step-up from the family's dated, for-sale-by-owner Chevy Venture.

Findlay Honda general manager Allen Lee said, "We were happy to give the car away to such a nice a guy who incidentally needed a new vehicle."

Findlay Honda sells new and used vehicles from its dealership at 7497 W. Azure Drive in northwest Las Vegas. The dealership can be reached at 982-4200 or online at www.FindlayHonda.com.
