Former aide to appear in interview about Ensign affair

Hampton interview with 'astonishing' Ensign details to run Monday on Nightline

Doug Hampton, former aide to Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev., will appear on the national news program Nightline Monday to talk about the affair between Ensign and Hampton's wife, Cynthia, also a former Ensign employee.

The affair and alleged illegal attempts to cover it up have greatly damaged Ensign's once successful political career.
