‘Friends’ star helps police solve crime

The New York City Police Department recruited the help of “Friends” actor David Schwimmer on Monday when the security camera on his property caught a crime on video.

According to the New York Post, the fight broke out in the early morning hours outside Schwimmer’s residence on Monday and until police noticed the security camera, they were only going off of the two men’s accounts.

Schwimmer moved into the area in 2010 and did a massive renovation in 2012, which angered locals, but the neighbors aren’t giving him too much grief now.

“Four years ago, I would say David Schwimmer was the least popular guy on the block with the construction and all,” resident Jayson Fillermutter told the New York Post. “But he has turned out to be a decent neighbor, and I am glad to hear he helped the cops with that stabbing.”
