Goodman not interested in DA’s job

From the Truth is Stranger Than Fiction file comes word that several local attorneys have begun talking up the possible appointment of former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman to Clark County District Attorney in the wake of this week’s announced resignation of David Roger.  

That’s flattering, Goodman said during a layover in Atlanta before departing with Mayor Carolyn Goodman on a promotional trip to London on behalf of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. But he’s not interested.  

“I’m pretty happy with my life as it stands right now, representing the brand of Las Vegas,” Goodman said.
