Harmony to open two new communities in May

Las Vegas-based Harmony Homes has announced plans to open two communities in May.

The builder is to debut Silhouette in the southwestern portion of the Las Vegas Valley in mid-May. Later in the month Harmony will introduce Daybreak in the Sunrise Mountain area.

Located between Mountain’s Edge and Rhodes Ranch, Silhouette will have six models and nine two-story floor plans ranging from 1,706 to 2,939 square feet with prices starting in the low $200,000s.

“Silhouette is in a great spot in the southwest part of Las Vegas, and I believe that location is going to make the community very popular with buyers,” Harmony Homes President Robert Beville said. “The homes are beautiful, and they include all the exceptional attention to detail that our buyers have come to expect, like our luxurious oversized kitchen islands, which are the type of high-end touch you rarely see at this price point.”

Silhouette also offers access to schools and shopping, and is near several outdoor attractions, including Wet ’n’ Wild Las Vegas, which will open this spring, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and Spring Mountain Ranch State Park.

Standard features at Silhouette and Daybreak will include granite countertops, paver driveways and open floor plans.

Daybreak at Sunrise Mountain will feature two models and three floor plans ranging from 1,739 to 2,275 square feet. All the floor plans have two-story designs, and the 2,275-square-foot plan features an option for as many as five bedrooms.

“Daybreak is one of the only new developments in the Sunrise Mountain area, and the community is exceptionally well-designed for the way families live today,” Beville said. “Savvy buyers already know that now is the time to buy, because even though new homes are in high demand and prices are climbing, new homes are still affordable and interest rates are still low. Buyers are going to be very interested in both of these new communities.”

All homes are part of the builder’s five-star energy certification, which includes energy-efficient features such as radiant barriers to help reduce heat transfer through the roof and attic, low-e windows that help reflect heat away from the glass, vinyl window frames for superior insulation; and 13 seasonal energy efficiency rating heating, ventilation and cooling systems. Homes also feature sealed ducts and upgraded insulation.

Harmony has sold more than 1,300 homes since it was formed in Southern Nevada in late 2008. Company officials said it had 433 closings in Southern Nevada in 2012.

It offers 10 neighborhoods throughout Southern Nevada, with one- and two-story homes priced from the $150,000s and ranging from 1,436 to 4,900 square feet.

The builder also offers four new communities in Texas and two in Southern California.

Sales offices are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except on Monday, when they open at noon. For more information about Silhouette, call 702-468-6220, or visit www.harmonyhomes.com. For more information about Daybreak, visit the website.
