Harry Reid wrong on Ebola travel ban

The man from Nevada who has been wrong on virtually every foreign policy decision since he went to Washington is wrong again today when he opposes modest travel restrictions into the U.S. from Ebola ravaged West African countries.

He says it wouldn’t work because people would enter the countries from other countries in which they have dual citizenship.

Then he said it was too early for such a travel ban.

Well, which is it, Harry. Is it not going to work, or is too early? How many people need get sick before the time is right?

What Reid’s doing is playing crass politics in an attempt to keep President Obama and Democrats above water before the November elections. A travel ban now would make the president look bad.

News flash: Obama already looks bad.

The truth is an #Ebola travel ban should have been done months ago. But once again President Obama, Harry Reid and Democrat management in Washington, D.C., are slow to react. And, they’ve decided not to react while the elections hang in the balance.

Stop playing politics with the health of people, Harry. Shame. Again.
