PARENTS NIGHT OUT TO OFFER GAMES AND ACTIVITIES
The city of Henderson is scheduled to host a Parents Night Out from 6 to 8 p.m. June 20 at the Whitney Ranch Indoor Pool, 1575 Galleria Drive.
The event is slated to include pizza, dessert, swimming activities and games.
Children must be able to swim at least one length of the pool comfortably to participate.
The event is open to children 8 to 12 and costs $10.

WALK TO RAISE MONEY FOR ANGELMAN SYNDROME RESEARCH
The Angelman Syndrome Foundation Walk is scheduled at 7:30 a.m. May 17 at Sunset Park, 2601 E. Sunset Road.
The event includes a 5K run, a 1-mile walk and a 5K bike ride.
Proceeds are slated to help raise funds for research.

The city of Henderson plans a Super Summer Safety Fair from 3 to 8 p.m. May 30 at the Henderson Multigenerational Center, 250 S. Green Valley Parkway.
The event is expected to educate residents about child and infant safety around the water.

STATION CASINOS TO HONOR VETERANS
Station Casinos recently announced its Military Mondays program, which offers discounts to active and retired military veterans who show identification.
All branches of the military can take part in the program.
The program is expected to feature a commemorative boarding pass card that allows discounts in dining, hotel accommodations, gaming, bowling and Kids Quest.

HUMANA TO HOST OPEN HOUSE
Humana Guidance Center is scheduled to host a Memorial Day open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 21 at its Henderson location, 1000 N. Green Valley Parkway.
The event is expected to include a presentation of colors by Nellis Air Force Base Honor Guard and speakers from the center.

COUNCILWOMAN TO SPEAK AT CONNECTION MEETING
The city of Henderson plans to host a neighborhood connection meeting at 6 p.m. June 4 at the Henderson Multigenerational Center, 250 S. Green Valley Parkway.
Henderson City Councilwoman Debra March is slated to answer questions and address various city topics.
She is expected to be joined by city staff and Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen.
