Hillary and Bill (O’Reilly)

HRC took a calculated chance going on Bill O'Reilly's Fox News show "The O'Reilly Factor" last night. (The second installment of the interview airs tonight at 5 p.m. Las Vegas time.) I watched every word of it and ... I thought she came off very well.
She was relatively charming (a hard thing for her, I think) but most importantly she plainly answered O'Reilly's questions. She tried to evade some questions as she does with the puff-question folks from the regular press corps on the campaign trail, but O'Reilly pressed her in his "no spin" style ... she responded with some homespun chit-chat and, in the end, plain, understandable answers to Bill's questions. The whole deal was a good thing for her and her campaign.
She still can't win, though. Hillary still carries a suitcase full of negatives that will kill her in a general election. Barack Obama may be going through a rough spot with his "Pastor Disaster" but Obama is not going to lose his lead in the pledged delegates. That will earn him the support of superdelegates and the nomination.
