Home & Auto Expo comes to Las Vegas

The 2013 Home & Auto Expo is ramping up to become one of Las Vegas’ premier expositions. Appropriately titled, the Home & Auto Expo, this show will combine two show concepts into one exposition at the South Point on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Featuring test drives from Hyundai, Toyota, Audi, Volkswagen and Kia, showgoers can get behind the wheel of their favorite models and take them for a spin. Inside the exposition center, Lexus, Ford, Mazda, Acura, Chevrolet, Volkswagen, Toyota, Honda and Audi have static booth displays showcasing their newest vehicle selections. Vendors and experts will be on hand showcasing the newest in home products, design, remodeling, landscaping, solar and more.

If cars and homes aren’t your interest, then the culinary showcase will be. The Taste of South Point will feature food samplings from Michael’s Gourmet Room, Silverado Steakhouse, Don Vito’s Italian, Baja Miguel’s, Coronado Café, Primarily Prime Rib, Big Sur Oyster Bar, Steak ’n’ Shake and Zenshin. For hours, detailed information and tickets for this year’s event, visit Home & Auto Expo at www.autohomeexpo.com.

“The Home & Auto Expo is truly unique in that it brings together the best of two trade show concepts. For years, we have hosted home shows and auto shows, but never together. We feel that consumers want more when they attend a show and we are bringing all those worlds together,” said Paul Smith, show producer, On the Edge Promotions. “The show provides an arena for those interested in new cars to actually get behind the wheel and take one for a test. While the wife is out test driving, the husband can be inside looking at the latest in backyard barbecue appliances.”

Hosted at the South Point, the 2013 Home & Auto Expo will showcase the latest model vehicles for consumers to enjoy and also host a variety of other activities included in the price of admission. The Taste of South Point will run all weekend. Friday night will feature a Wine & Cheese Festival; Saturday is be hosted by the ESPN Zone, along with the Kids Treat Zone on Sunday.

Show hours are Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online, and are $7 for adults (13 years and over). Seniors and military are $5. Children under the age of 6 are free with a paid adult. To purchase tickets and for more information, visit the official Home & Auto website at www.autohomeexpo.com.
