‘Howl at the Moon’ tonight
Ryland Homes is hosting its annual “Howl at the Moon” event from 6 to 10 p.m. today at all of its Southern Nevada neighborhoods. From Henderson to northwest Las Vegas, all Ryland communities will light the sky with spotlights and invite home shoppers to experience their signature rooftop decks under the desert stars.
“This is a rare opportunity to experience the views from our rooftop decks at night,” Ryland Homes Sales and Marketing Director Kelli Cunningham said. “Just look for the spotlights and stop by to see the views from an entirely new perspective.”
This is the only day of the year Ryland Homes sales offices are open in the evening. Special “Howl at the Moon” treats will be served.
And this month only, Ryland is including a gourmet kitchen with every new-home purchase. Stainless-steel General Electric appliances are offered in the special promotion and each kitchen is delivered with a built-in oven, five-burner cooktop, microwave and dishwasher.
One Ryland neighborhood with standard rooftop decks is Madori Gardens in the Green Valley section of Henderson. Madori Gardens has four three-story townhomes ranging in size from 2,222 to 2,370 square feet. The brand-new designs include up to four bedrooms, up to 3½ baths, a two-car garage and are Energy Star-certified.
Madori Gardens Sales Counselor Alex Natour said the views from atop the neighborhood’s three-story townhomes are complemented by thoughtfully designed floor plans that encourage use of the rooftop decks.
“All four of our plans include the main living spaces and kitchen on the third floor,” he said. “This makes it very easy and convenient to have meals on the rooftop deck, enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or unwind in the evening..
“Anyone can have a backyard, but you rarely have views from them due to other homes and walls,” Natour added. “From your rooftop deck, you can literally see million-dollar views from the comfort of your own home. Some of our communities have 360 degree views … from the entire Las Vegas Valley to the Strip and mountains.”
Another Ryland neighborhood showcasing rooftop decks is Maravilla Vistas in the Mountain’s Edge master plan. The neighborhood is in its close-out phase and has seven homes left for sale.
“This is the best time to buy, as the builder is willing to accept offers,” Maravilla Vistas Sales Counselor Barbara Stone said. “All seven homes are under construction and will be available for move-in before the holidays.”
Maravilla Vistas’ final available home sites include four of its two-story Diana plan and three of its three-story Cassandra plan.
“One of the Diana plans includes $21,000 in upgrades,” Stone said. “This home has 2,127 square feet with two bedrooms, two baths, a two-car garage and one of our signature rooftop decks. It also includes a gourmet kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, two-tone paint throughout, flat-screen-TV prewiring, a soft-water loop, stair railings and is Energy Star-certified.”
