Lennar promotion ends this weekend

Lennar will end its Hottest Sale Under The Sun sales promotion this weekend.

The summer special includes lower home prices, extra features that are included in the price of the home and seller-paid closing costs on quick move-in homes throughout out seven Las Vegas communities.

"Over half of our quick move-in homes available in the sale have already been purchased. Inventory is low in the valley, so the fact that we have seven communities with quick move-in homes still available is a great opportunity for buyers. Plus, we are offering extra incentives on these homes," said Joy Broddle, Lennar Las Vegas sales manager.

Some of the sales incentives at select communities may include 2-inch faux wood blinds, two ceiling fans, seller-paid closing costs and General Electric stainless steel appliances.

The homebuilder's Everything's Included program offers buyers upgraded features included in the price of the home.

"We know how important energy efficiency is to valley homebuyers, so we have also included the latest in modern green technology," said Wayne Shumsker, vice president of operations. "Our Everything's Included homes save homeowners significant amounts of money every single month."

Lennar homes offer low-energy, dual-panel, vinyl windows, low-volatile-organic compound paint, radiant-barrier roof sheeting and 14 SEER-rated, ground, mounted air conditioners. All of these features are included at no extra cost, according to Shumsker.

Participating communities are Ladera Terrace in Summerlin, Madison Grove in Providence, San Gabriel in Mountain's Edge, Mountain Terrace and Sommerset in Henderson and Hampton Glen and Windsor Hill Estates in the northwest.

A variety of homes range from 2,265 to 5,287 square feet with as many as five bedrooms. Some have three-car garages. Prices begin from the low $200,000s.

Lennar will host a free interior design class from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Ladera Terrace.

The event will include complimentary refreshments from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

Professional interior decorators will teach the basics on how to create a space plan, incorporate color and balance, scale furniture and art, get the latest trends and learn savvy ways to save money on home decor. Call to reserve a spot because seating is limited.
