Lennar’s Desert Foothills offers family-friendly designs

Lennar’s southwest community Desert Foothills is offering homes with a selection of family-friendly floor plans that have included features and a sought-after location.

Located at Fort Apache and Warm Springs roads, Desert Foothills is a gated community that offers 1,670 to 2,713 square feet of living space, three to five bedrooms, two-car garages, large lofts, open floor plans with spacious kitchens and large pool-sized backyards.

Designed for this community is the Clay, a single-story plan that offers 1,670 square feet of living space, three bedrooms, two baths and a two-car garage. The Clay has a layout that opens up the dining room, kitchen and living room.

For homebuyers that prefer a single-story floor plan, but might need a little extra space, the Sandy offers a “pop top” increasing the square footage to 2,334, four bedrooms, three baths with a two-car garage.

The 2,540-square-foot Juniper recently won the Best Single-Family Home Award, for homes 2,501 to 2,800 square feet, at the Silver Nugget Awards, hosted by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association. This residence features a downstairs master bedroom with an in-suite washer and dryer.

“Many families with parents or other family members living with them, find the dual-master option convenient,” said Jennifer Graff, new home consultant.

Homeowners can take advantage of the new Wet ‘n’ Wild water park.

“We have a great promotion going on for those who purchase a new home at Desert Foothills. While supplies last, new homebuyers will receive two season passes to the water park,” Graff said.

Homes in the southwest Desert Foothills have access to the 215 Beltway, as well as shopping and dining hotspots. Desert Foothills is also situated close to the Wayne N. Tanaka Elementary School and the Wilbur and Theresa Faiss Middle School. Homeowners can enjoy the nine-hole Red Ridge Disc Golf Course, as well as the Red Ridge Kids Park. The park has a walking trail, two baseball fields, picnic tables, playground, two covered and fully fenced/gated play areas and a splash pad.

Buyers benefit from Lennar’s Everything’s Included package that gives buyers upgrades at no extra cost.

“Our buyers won’t have to deal with high-priced design centers that are common among other builders, there are no hidden costs in a Lennar home — all they need to do is move in and enjoy their fully upgraded new home,” Graff said.

Included upgrades are granite countertops, raised-panel cabinetry, General Electric kitchen appliances and Lennar Home Automation by Nexia Home Intelligence.

Additionally, Lennar has partnered with the Nevada Rural Housing Authority Home at Last Program at Desert Foothills to provide qualified Nevada residents with a secure, low-interest mortgage.

“Many new homeowners are loving this program because it provides free down payment assistance, which includes money for a down payment that they never have to pay back,” Graff said.
