Local Hyundai dealers guarantee returns
Local Hyundai dealers Planet Hyundai, Henderson Hyundai and Centennial Hyundai announced the revolutionary Hyundai Assurance program Jan. 2. In an effort to keep consumers at ease about making the investment to buy or lease a new car during the current economic times, the three dealerships will allow customers to return their car if they encounter a life-altering circumstance such as job loss. This program is available to anyone who buys a new Hyundai regardless of age, health, employment record or amount of the vehicle purchased or leased. The initiative includes coverage for people in case of involuntary unemployment, physical disability, loss of drivers license due to medical impairment, international employment transfer, self-employed personal bankruptcy or accidental death.
"A lot of customers are holding back making a car purchase because of the uncertainty of today's economy. We feel that this program will change that feeling," said Moe Fahmy, general manager at Planet Hyundai.
Hyundai first offered America's Best Warranty over a decade ago putting the faith in their product and as the economic landscape of the country became more and more unpredictable, the car maker knew coming up with a program like this would help. "Our product has gone through many changes over the past decade. Hyundais are among the safest, most fuel-efficient and best-quality vehicles made today and this just adds to that evolution," Frank Maione, owner of Henderson Hyundai, said.
Hyundai is the first and only manufacturer to implement a vehicle return program. This type of program is extremely valuable especially in the ever- changing Las Vegas market.
"Las Vegas has seen it's share of ups and downs during these economic times and I'm glad to be a part of the solution. Not only do we provide value with our pricing and fuel economy, but we also now offer peace of mind after the sale. It's a tremendous program," said Marty Mckenna, general manager of Centennial Hyundai.
All new Hyundai vehicles qualify under the Hyundai Assurance program including the entry-level Hyundai Accent which has recently been redesigned and offers fuel economy up to an estimated highway of 35 miles per gallon.
The Hyundai Elantra comes with a sporty design and features six standard air bags as well as a 5-Star Safety crash test rating, the highest possible rating). The all-new redesigned and refined Hyundai Sonata has been a marquee product combining safety, style and comfort surpassing Honda Accord and Toyota Camry in most comparisons. Hyundai also offers an impressive lineup of SUVs including the Tucson, Santa Fe and Veracruz. All three have been given five-star crash test safety ratings and feature six or more airbags and electronic stability control. Also available is the flagship vehicle: the Hyundai Genesis. Touted as a rival to BMW and Mercedes, the Genesis comes with a V-8 and has more standard features than any car in its class.
"Hyundai broke the mold when they made this car," said Fahmy.
All Hyundai models still come standard with a 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty.
"When you combine fuel efficiency, value, safety, the warranty and now add to it the Hyundai Assurance program, you really can't go wrong when you buy a Hyundai," Mckenna said.
