Man reaches for bananas at Walmart, finds scorpion instead

A Wal-Mart shopper got quite the scare while he was shopping last Wednesday in Pennsylvania and reached into a box of bananas.

A scorpion pinched him.

Yes, you read that right, a scorpion was in a box of bananas at a Wal-Mart.

“I yanked my arm out and flung it, and this scorpion flopped to the ground,” the man told CBS Pittsburgh. “I was standing there in disbelief looking and there was another shopper there and people started to converge, and sure enough it was a scorpion.”

According to CBS Pittsburgh, the man, who had his 2-year-old and 3-year-old children in the cart, quickly threw a lid over the scorpion and killed it.
