McCain pays Reid inadvertent compliment

In a Politico article about an apparent about face by Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., on climate change policy McCain directs a Yucca Mountain related jab at Sen. Reid, D-Nev.
But given Reid's longtime stance against storing nuclear waste in Nevada and his campaign's desire to show voters Reid's clout in Washington, it will likely be received as a compliment.
The quote: “They’re shutting down Yucca Mountain because of the power and influence of Sen. Reid,” McCain said. “They can do that, but that doesn’t mean that somehow they get me to agree to it.”
