Michael Jackson’s English home will be re-created inside Planet Hollywood

Some 22 furniture lots Michael Jackson commissioned are going up on the auction block at Planet Hollywood in June.

The Colombostile Artisans, handmade Italian furniture was going to be used in his residence in Kent, England, during the death-scuttled “This Is It” concerts in London.

Julien's Auctions will actually re-create MJ’s Kent home for a display at a museum in Ireland March 16-May 30, then at Planet Hollywood from June 14 to June 25.

“Michael's fans and the public will experience how the entertainer's home would have looked,” Julien's said Friday.

Some auction money will go to MusiCares and Joshua's Heart charities.

On the auction block, according to Julien’s:

[] “An elegant seashell encrusted silk upholstered ‘Shells’ bergere with silver leaf front legs from the ‘Haute Couture’ collection,” with estimated beginning bidding at $16,500-$18,500.

[] “A lavish ‘Swarovski’ crystal embellished bergere finished in platinum-gold leaf and upholstered in metallic leather from the ‘Haute Couture’ collection,” start-estimated at $16,500-$18,500.

[] “And a luxuriant faux leopard and Ostrich feather trimmed ‘Wild Cat’ bergere from the ‘Haute Couture’ collection,” start-estimated at $16,500-$18,500.

[] “A regal pair of red velvet armchairs with gold double-headed eagle embroidery from the ‘Kalamos’ collection,” start-estimated at $57,000-$60,000.

[] “A magnificent 17th century style parcel gilt ebonized wood writing desk with mother of pearl inlay from the ‘Il ‘600’ collection,” start-estimated at $115,000-$120,000.

[] “And a monumental Baroque/eclectic style red velvet and parcel gilt sofa with hard stone inlay from the ‘Esmeralda’ collection,” start-estimated at $130,000-$150,000.

Other MJ stuff:

[] MJ commissioned David Nordahl for artwork. The auction will offer studies for the art pieces “Tryptych” (start-estimated $6,000/$8,000), “Michael” (start-estimated $4,000/$6,000), and “Prince, The Boy King” (start-estimated $6,000/$8,000).

[] An MJ-autographed “Beat It” Jacket (start-estimated $8,000/$12,000); sunglasses he wore on stage and given to him by Corey Feldman (start-estimated $2,000/$4,000); the military Jackson he wore when he married Debbie Rowe (start-estimated $6,000/$8,000); MJ’s white Swarovski crystal glove (start-estimated $20,000/$30,000); a beaded shirt (start-estimated $10,000/$12,000); sequined jacket (estimated $14,000/$16,000); “Victory” tour ensemble and autographed “Bad” lyrics (start-estimated $2,000/$4,000).

Non-Michael Jackson stuff on the block:

[] A lock of Elvis Presley’s hair, from the Army buzz cut, as won by a fan in the 1950’s (start-estimated $6,000/$8,000); A Fender guitar Jimi Hendrix played on stage (start-estimated $150,000/$200,000); and Britney Spears stage costumes.
