‘Misremembered’ … or just plain fibbing?
I'm going to surprise you this morning. I don't think it was either. Of course, I'm referring to the gaff-of-the-day for the Ms. Hillary campaign. For me, I'll not call it a flat-out lie. Nor will I pass it off (as her campaign does) as a misremembering.
I think Hill in her own mind believes she was under sniper fire and had to run for her car ... just as she believes her days as First Lady qualify her to be president ... and she's not played the race card against Barack Obama ... or played the gender card for herself ... and, of course, that she can still win the nomination.
