The New Year's weekend lineup continues to take shape, with Tao Las Vegas announcing Mariah Carey as its countdown host for New Year's Eve while the Palms has landed Jay-Z for a Dec. 29 concert at The Pearl.

Other New Year's Eve hosts around the city are: Pamela Anderson (Pure), Paris and Nicky Hilton (LAX), rocker Dave Navarro, DJ Skribble, deejay Eric Cubeechee, actress Jaime Pressly and music star Kanye West (all at N9NE Group venues inside the Palms).
