Nevada Nine: New trial date set

After nearly seven years in the legal system, it appears what remains of the so-called “Nevada Nine” prison corrections officers at last will get their day in court. A trial date has been set for July 20 in U.S. District Judge Philip Pro’s courtroom.

  The plaintiffs allege they were harassed by state prison officials after they attempted to organize their work place. Three former officers remain in the lawsuit.
