New Bentley
Invited guests of Towbin Motorcars enjoyed an exclusive preview of the New Bentley Supersports Convertible at a private event at Bentley Las Vegas on August 4.
According to Jesika Towbin-Mansour, general manager of Towbin Motorcars, the Continental Supersports Convertible is not yet available for sale, but is already making headlines within the luxury automotive world. It is the fastest and most potent drop-top that Bentley has ever built. The interior features materials such as satin-finished carbon fiber, Alcantar and "soft grip" leather to create a unique contemporary style, and the exterior comes in any custom color of the buyer's choosing.
"This car is environmentally conscious, which is important to many of our customers," Towbin said. "It reaffirms Bentley's ongoing commitment to making all of its cars biofuel compatible by 2012."
The Continental Supersports Convertible features a 621-horsepower, twin-turbocharged W12 engine that is capable of running on both gasoline and E85 bioethanol, making it both powerful and environmentally conscious.
Pioneered by the Supersports Coupe, this FlexFuel technology offers a reduction of up to 70 percent in CO2 emissions on a well-to-wheel basis, a measure of a fuel's net contribution to the atmosphere, not just tailpipe emissions.
The new, muscular four-seat Supersports Convertible is priced from $280,400 and is expected to arrive at Towbin Motorcars by the end of the year.
