New look, more content for SlashPolitics

Welcome to an all-new look for SlashPolitics.

I’ve been writing under the SlashPolitics name for years now, first as a production of the now-defunct Las Vegas CityLife, then under the Review-Journal banner. Its original motto — everything Nevada politics — is still the mission.

Only now, there will be more Slash Politics. My goal is to post multiple items each day, keeping you up to date on local, state and even national politics, always with a unique perspective. Whether it’s the Clark County Commission, the Nevada Legislature or the actions of Nevada’s delegation in Congress, Slash Politics is the place to come to find out what’s going on and, even more important, what it all means.

Sometimes it will be humorous, sometimes it will be serious. But I hope it’s always relevant, and that you readers are informed, entertained and occasionally even inspired by what you read here. I will strive to provide you with the most accurate, most complete, “best obtainable version of the truth,” as the Washington Post’s Bob Woodword once famously said.

As always, tips, suggestions and replies are welcome. You can reach me at 702-387-5276, or SSebelius@reviewjournal.com.

Thanks for reading.
