Obama’s gay marriage ‘evolution’

President Obama says he's "evolved" on the gay marriage issue. Up until yesterday, he was ironclad against gay marriage. Now he says homosexual men and women should be able to marry on a state-by-state basis but they absolutely DO NOT have a constitutional right to marry.
That's mighty big of this president. Quite a move for a liberal. Like moving from baroque to rococo.
This blog item expresses what I suspect will be the general reaction to Obama's evolution: "Barack Obama's Bullsh*t Gay Marriage Announcement."
"He now believes that gay couples should be able to marry. He doesn't believe they have a right to do so. This is like saying that black children and white children ought to attend the same schools, but if the people of Alabama reject that notion -- what are you gonna do?
