Old, new Cadillacs shine at car show

The fifth annual Cadillac Through the Years car show will put Cadillac's rich, artistic history on display March 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the The District at Green Valley Ranch. The event, which is sponsored by Findlay Cadillac and the Las Vegas Cadillac and LaSalle Club, marks 108 years of Cadillac history.

More than 70 classic Cadillacs will be on display, including the famous 1960 Cadillac El Dorado Brougham, this year's featured classic car.

Attendees will also catch a glimpse of the future, as Findlay Cadillac unveils the 2011 CTS Coupe as its featured vehicle.

The oldest Cadillac exhibited this year will be a 1911 Model 30 Gentleman's Roadster. The second oldest will be a 1917 Type 55 Phaeton, owned by Colin Christie, president of the Las Vegas LaSalle Club. Other highlights include a 1949 convertible, 1962 Coupe de Ville, 1954 convertible, 1984 Biarritz and several models from the 1930s.

Findlay Cadillac will display all 2010 Cadillac Models, including the all-new 2010 Cadillac CTS Sports Wagon and the sporty 2010 SRX crossover.

Cadillac Through the Years is a family-oriented event, and admission is free. The show encompasses the entire Village Walk and will feature entertainment. Famed race car driver Taylor Barton will be on hand with his race car to pose for photographs with fans and sign autographs.
