City National Bank named Ramon Perez vice president and relationship manager for its commercial banking services group in Las Vegas. Perez is a 15-year veteran of the banking industry who joins City National Bank from U.S. Bank.

Tammy Gallegos, vice president of marketing, communication and service quality for America First Credit Union, was highlighted as the first Credit Union Times Women to Watch of 2014.

Mandalay Bay appointed Matthew Chilton as general manager of Delano Las Vegas.

Joice Bass, a partner in Lewis Roca Rothgerber’s commercial litigation practice group, earned the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

National law firm Wilson Elser promoted Reuben Cawley to partner. Cawley’s practice spans three jurisdictions (Arizona, Nevada and Utah), and focuses on complex business and commercial litigation, construction litigation, personal injury, professional liability, real estate litigation, banking litigation and general liability.

Mandi Thorn, assistant vice president of construction and maintenance for Harsch Investment Properties, named 2014 Nellis Air Force Base Spouse of the Year by Military Spouse Magazine.

NONPROFIT

Aid for AIDS of Nevada promoted Irene del Rosario to development director. Rosario helped increase AIDS Walk Las Vegas from 8,000 walkers to more than 12,000 and has become one of the top fundraising efforts for AFAN. The organization also hired Kirk Ryder as director of business development and Evan Walsh as development manager.
