Alicia R. Ashcraft and Jeffery F. Barr opened Ashcraft & Barr | LLP law office in Southern Nevada. The firm will specialize in business law, corporate law, government relations, commercial real estate and land use law, gaming law, medical marijuana, commercial litigation, crisis management and regulatory compliance law.
The Las Vegas office of Snell & Wilmer elected Nevada attorneys Marek Bute and Justin Carley to partner. In addition to Bute and Carley, Snell & Wilmer’s firm-wide new partners include: David G. Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada named Patrice Ross vice president of human resources. Ross previously served as the chief human resources officer for United Way of Southern Nevada and a human resources professional with WSI — Nevada, a prime security contractor for the Department of Energy’s Nevada National Security Site.
