Pardee Homes receives high marks
The Southern Nevada Division of Pardee Homes has received the highest rankings from J.D. Power and Associates for customer satisfaction and quality, "a great double achievement," said Klif Andrews, president of Pardee's Southern Nevada Division.
Established in 1968, J.D. Power and Associates is a global marketing information firm that conducts independent surveys of customer satisfaction, product quality and buyer behavior.
In the J.D. Power and Associates report released last week, Pardee ranks highest in overall customer satisfaction among new-home builders as well as highest in new-home quality. Pardee has been building in the Las Vegas Valley since 1952.
"The success of the Las Vegas team is a result of the commitment made by our President, Mike McGee, to be a leader in homeowner satisfaction," Andrews said. "That commitment was embraced by the Las Vegas team."
According to the report, Pardee performs well in the Las Vegas market in six of nine factors: builder's sales staff, construction manager, workmanship/materials, home readiness, builder's warranty/customer service staff and location.
The team effort includes monthly meetings of all department heads to review opportunities for improvement and "how to deliver a better product to our home buyers," said Rocky Cochran, vice president of construction operations for Pardee in Southern Nevada.
"Along with safety, customer satisfaction is Pardee's top priority," McGee said. "Our goal is excellence, and thanks to our dedicated employees, it looks like we are on the right track."
Part of Pardee's customer-focused process includes additional touch points with buyers after the sale and quality and orientation walks. There are three post-closing visits that teach the new owners how their homes work, change batteries and filters, if necessary, and provide education on home upkeep, according to Doug Cazin, Pardee corporate director of customer service.
Pardee Regional Sales Director Rob Tuvell conducts weekly Neighborhood Team meetings attended by sales, construction, closing services and the design studio to review in detail each buyer's needs and what will give the buyer the best experience possible.
"We not only want to better understand their needs, we want to anticipate their needs and exceed their expectations," Tuvell said.
Last year, Pardee's Las Vegas division received the highest ratings from Eliant, a consumer research company catering exclusively to the new home industry, in surveys of new home buyers in categories that include overall satisfaction, purchase, home personalization, construction, home occupancy and finance experiences as well as installation and workmanship. Based on 120 surveys, the most recent report period gave Pardee all A scores.
Pardee is also recognized as a national leader in environmentally responsible development. Every home includes Pardee's LivingSmart standards that help conserve energy, improve indoor air quality, save water and reduce consumption of natural resources, according to Andrews.
From entry-level to luxury, Pardee is selling in nine single-family new home neighborhoods including Lake Las Vegas. Pardee neighborhoods and communities now open for sales include Ashwood in Nevada Trails, Montclaire in Green Valley Ranch, Northpoint and Horizon in Eldorado Highlands, Solamar in Vista Verde, Riverstone in Prescott Park, Rosetta in Mountain's Edge, Trail Ridge at Blue Diamond and Durango and Bella Fiore at Lake Las Vegas.
