Pardee to open LivingSmart Homes Providence community March 17

Pardee Homes is gearing up for its third grand opening in as many months.

LivingSmart Homes Providence will celebrate its grand opening March 17 in Providence, a master-planned community in northwestern Las Vegas.

A collection of four floor plans that range from 1,849 to 3,001 square feet, LivingSmart Homes Providence is located off of the Las Vegas Beltway at Ann Road in the top corner of Providence and close to the community's new 15-acre Knickerbocker Park.

"We're excited to debut our LivingSmart product line in Providence," said Regional Sales Director Rob Tuvell. "Our LivingSmart brand is a program with standard and optional measures that boost energy efficiency, save water, improve indoor air quality and encourage material conservation and the use of recycled or sustainable resources in new homes."

LivingSmart Homes Providence Plan One measures 1,849 square feet with three bedrooms, two baths, living room, great room and two-car garage.

Plan Two measures 2,183 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, great room, spacious kitchen and two-car garage with optional third-bay or workshop.

LivingSmart Homes Providence Plan Three measures 2,523 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, great room, dining room, loft and three-car garage.

Plan Four measures 3,001 square feet with five bedrooms, three baths, den, great room and two-car garage.

The company began its pledge to build greener when it helped pioneer the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star homes in Southern Nevada in 1998, according to Tuvell.

Today, that commitment has grown to become Pardee's far more comprehensive -- and award-winning -- LivingSmart program, he added.

He said the LivingSmart program provides more than 30 Earth-friendly standard and optional systems and features for new-home buyers, and it applies to every newly designed home the company offers.

Pardee also includes such items as slab-granite kitchen countertops, radiant-roof barrier, stainless steel appliances and birch cabinets as standard features that are included in the price of the home.

Sales office hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday. Beginning Sunday, sales offices will close daily at 6 p.m.
