Pardee’s Summerglen location draws buyers

Dana and Janielle Bertrand and their two sons, Darian and Jayce, had been looking at Pardee Home neighborhoods in the southwest valley for the past three years. Their patience paid off with the opening of Summerglen earlier this month.

“We knew within minutes of walking into the sales office and meeting sales representative Misty Tiffany that Summerglen was the place for us,” Dana Bertrand said. “Misty’s honest personality and interest in us and our needs really helped us make our decision to buy in the first phase.”

The location of Summerglen was another factor that sealed the deal for the Bertrands.

“Summerglen is located just around the corner from Bishop Gorman High School, where Darian will be a freshman this fall, and Faiss Middle School, where Jayce will start fifth grade,” Janielle Bertrand said. “This location gives our boys the opportunity to attend two of the top schools in the valley.”

Located off Sunset Road just west of Fort Apache Road in the southwest valley, Summerglen is a collection of three two-story floor plans that measure as large as 2,402 square feet and has five bedrooms and patio covers and paver driveways, which are included as standard. Prices start from $289,950.

The Bertrands purchased a Plan One at Summerglen, which measures 2,331 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths and loft. The home includes a downstairs bedroom and bath for guests or family members and an optional fifth bedroom that can be built instead of the loft.

Summerglen Plan Two measures 2,385 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, loft or optional retreat or optional fifth bedroom while the Plan Three measures 2,402 square feet with four bedrooms, 2½ baths and optional loft instead of the fourth bedroom.

“Summerglen offers a high-end product that is really a great value in this price range,” said Dana Bertrand, a native Las Vegan. “We look forward to living here.”

According to Pardee Homes’ Regional Sales Director Rob Tuvell, Summerglen does offer a unique location and competitive price.
