PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View’s pets section. Because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

Meegan Tisdale of North Las Vegas shared this photo of her best friend, Irish McPhee, “a 2-year-old German  shepherd  that I named in memory of my mother who came here from Ireland. I’m quite sure she’s the only German shepherd named Irish McPhee!”

“Romeo awakes from a sleep surrounded by Christmas toys and friends and wondered how they got there,” writes Sarah St. Claire of Summerlin. “He is so beautiful to take pictures of and has a whole portfolio from kittenhood to present. He keeps me company and gives me something to care for and love. He purrs easily and loves any kind of food or cat treats. He’s seems so grateful that he acts almost human. The best of the rest!”

“My pit-hua (pitbull/Chihuahua) Delilah just turned 6 years old,” wrote Hope Dansby of North Las Vegas. “She has been a needed source of joy and entertainment in our family.”
