PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View’s pets section. Because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

Cristina Pace of Summerlin shared this photo of her miniature pinschers, from left, Bella and Annie, and their adopted sister Frannie, a Labrador/chow mix.

This is Baby Aria, owned by Nikki Leonard of North Las Vegas. "She was dropped off to a friend in a Smith’s parking lot. ... The person asked, 'Do you like cats? Here, take this one,' and drove away. She has been the highlight of Nikki’s life and is not afraid of anything or anyone. She also fetches like a dog and 'makes' you turn the sink on so she can get a drink. She loves climbing to the top of ladders and enjoys playing poker on Facebook with her owner."

“Hi! We are Jeff and Jenny, and we are German pointers. We love each other, as you can see. We also like to play fetch, and we just love to watch the birdies outside. Jeff is 10 years young, and Jenny is 18 months old. ... Our mom really loves pointers — she’s raised four so far.” Submitted by Mary Biggans of Las Vegas
