PICK OF THE WEEK:
BFG CHICKEN STRIPS
873 S. Rainbow Blvd. at Charleston Boulevard, 823-2835
The three most popular ways to cook chicken are to bake it, fry it or grill it. BFG stands for baked, fried or grilled, which means you order your chicken strips the way you like them, sit back, watch a little TV and enjoy. Real simple and real good. The No. 1 is four baked strips with macaroni and cheese, garlic bread, two sauces and a regular drink. The No. 2 is four fried strips, french fries, garlic bread, two sauces and a drink. Now about those sauces. There is the house BFG, barbecue, ranch, Buffalo, honey mustard, wasabi cream, sweet chili, cheese and teriyaki. Back to the combos. The No. 3 is four grilled strips, grilled veggies, etc. The No. 4 is build your own with four strips of one style (baked, fried or grilled) and choice of a side. The No. 5 is a salad combo, where three strips of one style are arranged among mixed greens, tomatoes and onions. Kids get the No. 6 with two strips of one style, choice of a side, one sauce and a drink. Drinks include assorted sodas, Fanta orange, raspberry ice tea and Powerade. The No. 1 is $5.75. Baked Fried Grilled Chicken Strips is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
